Once you find two mirror images they will break free and then you can go on and try to find the next to to set them free. But be careful because the magic wand has only so much magic. When it is used up you are finished, so you should try to free all of the Barbies friends as soon as possible. She will be very grateful to you if you manage to bring all of her friends back to her.
